In case you were still wondering about the identity of Minnesota's Junior US Senator, PollTrack suggests that the answer is now almost certainly Democrat Al Franken. While lawyers for Norm Coleman are filing a petition in Minnesota state court, it is highly unlikely that the incumbent Republican will prevail. At this point, the certified recount results will be difficult to overturn given the state's meticulous pocedures and rigorous standards for recounting votes.
