1 3 <p>A just released <a href="http://www.dailykos.com/statepoll/2009/6/17/VA/310">DailyKos/Research 2000 poll</a> reports that Republican Bob McDonnell is now edging Democrat Creigh Deeds in the Virginia gubernatorial race--45% to 44%. Given the poll's margin of error of +/- 4 points, the race is essentially tied.
